• COUNCIL FOR INTEGRATION AND COEXISTENCE IN A DIVERSE SOCIETY

    Promoting diversity and inclusion.

  • THE COUNCIL

The Council for Integration and Coexistence in Diversity was established by decree on December 11, 2017.

The main task of the Council is to analyse the situation in East Belgium from various perspectives around the topics of integration and coexistence in diversity and, based on this, to provide expert opinions, recommendations, or proposals to the government and parliament. It also cooperates with the Family and Social Affairs Department of the Ministry of the German-speaking Community.

Every three years, the Council organises a forum on the topic of integration and living together in diversity. Since the Council was established in March 2018, meetings have been held on average once a month. Since January 2025, Info-Integration has taken over the secretariat of the Council.
