OUR PROJECTS AND CAMPAIGNS
Integration means equal participation of all individuals in social life. It is an active process between individuals with a migration background and the host society.
Working with the broader population is therefore very important to reduce social imbalances caused by prejudice and privilege and to create a welcoming culture.
THE FILMTAGE
The purpose of the weMind.Filmtage is to offer new insights and enable a change of perspective through selected films. The focus is on stories of people from different backgrounds from all over the world.
The films show how cultural and social diversity can enrich our coexistence – as long as there is openness, courage and a willingness to embrace new things. The central message: overcoming outdated social images to create a culture of tolerance and recognition of diverse lifestyles.
NETWORK AGAINST PREJUDICE
The network is an association of organisations from East Belgium that want to send a strong message against prejudice and discrimination. Under the common motto ‘Network East Belgium – Strong together against prejudice’, we are joining forces to stand together against all forms of discrimination and raise awareness for a diverse and inclusive society.
Since 2024, the network has been launching annual campaigns on 21 March, the International Day against Racism.
